What Could Bloody Urine Suggest?
hi.. my fathaer has been suffering from blood in his urine. earlier it was a small duration for a day or two but this time it has been for 1 1/2 month. All reports are normal. Finally we are going for biopsy of the kidney.. is it something really fatal that we might be heading for?

Hello,
The kidney stones can be a cause for the blood in urine.
It's also a cause for the UTI, as the stone can be a focus of infection.
So unless the stones are cleared or expelled, this may recur any time.
He should be drinking about 12-15 glasses fluids daily.
He should also be taking stone dissolution drugs or undergo lithotripsy.
