What Could Burning In Digestive Tract After Flucloxacillin Intake Indicate?

I m taking flucloxacillin 4 times a day and took my last pill at 10pm, 2 hours after food like it says then I went to sleep. Just been woken up with a burning sensation all the way from my mouth to my stomach and it feels like something is coming up my throat, I have already been sick and can t get back to sleep need help really tired what should I do?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history taking Flucloxacillin 4 times a day, went to sleep and got up with burning sensation from mouth to stomach, feeling like something is coming up to the throat, can not sleep and tired.
The most probable causes are:
There might have been re-activation of GERD with lots of acidity.
It is usually not the Flucloxacillin but you may be taking some more additional medications like anti-inflammatory medication and so causing the GERD.
I would advise you the following in such a situation.
Go to ER for clinical evaluation and examination.
Get a PPI like Omeprazole.
Antacid every 3 hours.
control the anxiety and stress.
Stop all the medicines till reviewed by your Doctor.
Get upper GI Endoscopy later to know the exact diagnosis and get an appropriate treatment.
