What Could Cause A Down Condition After Intake Of Sensipar For Parathyroid Condition?

I had a primary parathyroid condition. I was given Sensipar, which I understand is mainly for secondary parathyroid.
I took this medication for a year and now I'm really sick. My nerves are bad, feet hurt, serious ringing in my ears. Should it have been prescribed for me. I was in great shape prior to this treatment

I can understand your concern. You are right, Sensipar (cinacalcet) is used mainly for the treatment of the secondary hyperparathyroidism caused by renal insufficiency but it can also be used to treat primary hyperparathyroidism if surgical treatment is not possible.
