What Could Cause A Swollen Thigh Accompanied With Tingling Sensation In Arms?

My left leg has been swelling off and on for the past two weeks and usually is swollen at the thigh and down towards the knee. This morning I woke to find my left leg swollen and hot. It is a nervey feeling and both my arms are tingling and during the night they were "falling asleep" and I keep waking up to shake my arms to get rid of the tingling.
Please tell me what you think.
