What Could Cause Abdominal Muscle Pain?

i am having sharp, almost raw like abdomen pain when i stand from a sitting position. It seem to happen when i my abdomonial muscles are flexed ( ie. standing after sitting, getting in and out of the car, etc.) It is below and to the right of my belly button. I have given birth 5 weeks ago and have my follow up appoinment with my obgyn in a week and a half. The pain started a week ago and I am not sure if this is due to my delivery or some thing else. I did not have pain after birth. I just recently started.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This kind of pain can be for many reasons. The information of how you delivered (vaginally or cesarean ) and was there any complication during delivery is also required. I suggest to visit your physician and get your abdomen palpated for proper diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
