What Could Cause Abdominal Pains, Bowel Movement And Odd Taste?

hey starting yesterday i started getting these sharp pains in my stomach an i have to go to the bathroom like every 10 mins i missed work because of this i am also felling upset an when i burp i get this really bad taste in my mouth an the smell is even worse

Hi. The symptoms you describe could be due to several different things, such as Acid reflux. You could try Tums (calcium carbonate) or H2-blockers (Famotidine or Ranitidine) that you can buy over the counter.

However acid reflux doesn't usually cause diarrhea, so if the diarrhea continues I would recommend speaking with your doctor. If you have had GI surgery before (or even if you haven't), there is a condition called 'bacterial overgrowth' that can cause the symptoms you are describing. If that is the case, you may need to take antibiotics. If you develop a high fever or see blood in your stool, I would recommend speaking with a doctor today.
