What Could Cause Bad Smelling Urine After Starting Humira And Being On Methotrexate?
I have recently noticed my urine smells awful, like sewage almost. It s not female related it s only when I urinate. I have been increasing my water intake but it isn t making a difference, it s the worst in the morning but I smell it throughout the daytime too. What could be causing this and should I see a doctor? Don t know if it s my meds or what, I take Humira and methotrexate among other things. I ve just noticed it since I started the Humira though.

It may be caused by fungal or bactererial infections since these medications may supress immune system and cause that you are prone to infections. You should do urinary analsis and urinoculture to rule this out and then it can be treated on right way.
