What Could Cause Bleeding And Cramping After Taking OTC Medication, Azo, For Urinary Tract Infection?

one night i went to the restroom at least 6 times. took an over the counter UTI test, which came back positive so i started using the AZO for at least a week, retook the UTI test which came back with only a slight trace of an infection. But now i am experiencing cramping and slight bleeding. not sure what to make of this.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Just taking a UIT treatment without medical advise is not good the underlying cause of UTI is matter and that should be treated the chances of stone here is more likely as you noticed the bleeding now you need to go for x-ray study if it turn okay then have urine culture sensitivity test done, hope this will help you in taking the decision have nice day.
