What Could Cause Bowel Movements For 5 To 6 Times A Day?

i use to stool in day 5-6 time, i have piles second stage also, and i have pain in my left hand joint also is there any link all of this. and what is reson i go stool more in day.piles i decided to do opratin as i have taken so many medicine before but no solution.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of passing stools 5-6 times a day - have 2nd degree piles for which you are planning operation, also have pain in the left hand joint, already taken many medications .
Since you have mentioned about decision to go for surgery for piles means you have been already examined by proctoscopy, I suppose.
The most probable cause of passing stools 5-6 times can be :
Colitis
Pancreatic insufficiency
IBS - irritable bowel syndrome.
Intolerance
This can be diagnosed by the following:
Send the sample of stool for three consecutive days.
Tests of blood for CBC, thyroid, liver, diabetes and as decided by clinical evaluation and examination by your Doctor or Gastroenterologist.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics should be tried.
If not useful, to go for colonoscopy an CT scan of the abdomen.
This way you will get the proper diagnosis and management.
