What Could Cause Bruising On Upper Arm?

I fell and have a huge dark red and purple looking bruise on upper arm. Happened yesterday. Today it is warm and very very tender. Also sore under arm .My thought it surely it is nothing or I wouldnt be able to move. Correct? I am Diabetic and a 46 yrs old.

Hello,

It is quite common after blunt trauma. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. You can apply ice packs for faster recovery.
