What Could Cause Burning And Pain With Urination, Pain In Lower Abdomen And Back?

I am a female age 60. I have burning and pain with urination. I don t think I have had a fever, but have had pain in my lower abdomen and a little in my back. I thought I had a UTI and took over the counter products, which made it worse instead of better. The symptoms have persisted for 5 days now. I would like to know if you think it is a UTI, bladder or kidney infection? Thanks!

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Till that time you csn that drugs like levofloxacin or norfloxacin. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
