OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

The vaginal pain with swelling indicates inflammation of vagina secondary to a possible infection induced by the pad itself, called vaginitis. This shall call for a twice a day alkaline vaginal wash and a course of antibiotics for a week to control the infection and inflammation.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Sameer Kumar
