What Could Cause Elevated Heart Rate?

I have run out of my Clonidine and Atenolol for 4 days now, but have been taking 300 mg Tekturna instead. I doesn't feel like it's working. My heart rate is very high, 133 bets per minute and feels like it's pounding out of my chest unless I am laying still. I have an appointment in two days to see a doctor. Is it okay to wait or should I go to the ER now?
