What Could Cause Extremely Itchy Vagina, Redness And Soreness With Scabs And Peeling Skin?
Hi there, I have had an extremely itchy vagina lately and it gets very red and sore. It takes all of my willpower not to scratch sometimes, and when I do it gets very red and bleeds slightly. It then seems to scab over and peel sort of in a cycle. I have not had this before and am going to make an appt. with my doctor.. but any ideas?? I have tried baby powder and keeping the area dry, tried different washing detergent, body wash, underwear fabric etc. etc. I have been with the same sexual partner for many years and I dont believe it is an STD. Help!!!

It seems that you might be having yeast infection on the part.
Appy anti-fungal cream locally.
Go for one course of anti-fungal medicine course like Flucanozole 150mg once in a week for 4 weeks.
Keep local hygiene proper.
