What Could Cause Fever & Soreness In Glands Of The Body ?

Hi, just yesterday my glands were getting sore, I woke up with them feeling worse. And now I have a fever. Also I feel a headache coming on. What could this be? I work 8 hours shifts and today my body felt so weak. Yesterday I did go swimming while it was getting cold, does this mean anything? Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Fever and soreness of the glands of the body are suggestive of a systemic infection and the infection can be chronic also. Few blood tests are needed for diagnosis.
