What Could Cause Fluid From Nipple And Spotting During Periods?

My first day of my last period was April 24, 2014. I noticed soreness breast one day, now, brown discharge, I spotted bright red one day, I have had heart burn for almost a week. I noticed dry crust on my nipple. I squeezed both nipples clear fluid came out. I already have 3 children I never experienced fluid from breast so early. I had unprotected sex from May 3 through May 10.

Hi,

You have to rule out any underlying breast pathology through ultrasonography of breast. You can revert back with reports once done.

Your heartburn could be due to acid reflux or gastritis. For that antacid like pantoprazole can be prescribed for a week.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
