What Could Cause Foul Smelling Loose Stools In A Child?

My two year old has foul smelling loser, stools for the last week, she seems happy and playful during the day..although at night has been waking up frequently crying, not sure about what...could welches fruit snacks or too much vitamin c make her poop smelly?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Foul smelling stools may be due to either Giardiasis or Amoebic colitis.
Atrial with metronidazole may help.
Fruits and Vitamin C usually do not impart smell to the stools
