What Could Cause Frequent Urination With Severe Pain But Poor Output?

A few hours ago my body has to go to the bathroom frequently, but it hurts everytime I go and hardly any urine comes out but it feels like I really have to go. It happened around the same time boyfriend got sick and started throwing up any connection? What do I have?
