What Could Cause Itching And Pain In Bruise Despite It Having Healed?

I had fallen last week and have a very large bruise on my upper leg. Everyone told me to see a doctor but I didn't. It's just a bruise but it is swollen. As it's been healing the swelling went down a little but it itches and still hurts. I know it's odd but there is like hard spots like it doesn't feel the same as the rest of my leg or bruise. Should I be concerned. Should I make an appointment. Also kind of strange it was like there was a bruise under the bruised part that's healed it's still discolered.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having hematoma formation and it takes some time to dissolve.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
If require apply Thrombophob cream on the part.
Ok and take care.
