What Could Cause Low Auto Immune System In A Person Suffering From Bowel Infections?

My husband has recently undergone( 5 months) a radical prostatectomy is having night sweats has an enlarged porta-caval node and extreme periods of fatigue. His auto immune system is low and he suffers ffom ongoing chest and bowel infections. Tests have been ordered.He also suffers from Diverticulitis and Hyperthroidism.What could be causing tne above?

Hi. All the problems you mentioned - together will cause a low immunity. Night sweats can be due to focus of infection. Better to go for blood culture and sensitivity test as it is better tool to guide the therapy .
