What Could Cause Numbness And Enlargement On The Left Side, Have History Of Hysterectomy Of Uterus?

I am 57 yrs old female, postmenapausal, hysterectomy at age 30 due to endometriosis, removing only my uterus and leaving both ovaries intact. For the past few months, I have had pain in my left side...in the area of my ovary. 4 days ago, I experienced the onset of numbness of my skin on my left side and the area enlarged and got more numb as the day went on. Could this be a cyst on my ovary that is growing and causing the numbness?

Hi,
The swelling/numbness on left side of abdomen by the side of umbilicus- suggests, -
- It may be lumber spinal problem causing stretch/pressure on sensory neve supply to affected area.
- Ovarian cyst pressing on nerve .
- Recurrerence of Endometriosis due to hormones by ovary-may cause it
All these this are to be evaluated after examination/investigations by an expert Gynecologist,to be followed by suitable treatment.
Thanks .
