What Could Cause Numbness Below Ribs To The Thigh?

Hi, I am suffering from Numbness on my left side lower rib area down to my thigh, had it for 2 months now. Also can spread up to my left ear on walking up hills or lifting. MRI down of back look s fine. No other health problems. Fit 57 year old male. Tried massage, chiropractor, magnetic treatment, inversion table. Any ideas please. Thanks Grant
