Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain pain in throat when swallowing saliva can be due to causes like
throat infection that can be bacterial [strep throat] or viral in nature..
It can also be due to
acid reflux causing inflammation in throat secondary to
acid injury..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture, pH value of throat, upper G.I Endoscopy and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be given antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkillers,
Proton pump inhibitors like
Omeprazole, antacids, warm saline gargles and steam inhalations for relief..
Avoiding spicy food and drinking plenty of water can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
