What Could Cause Pain In The Wrist That Makes It Difficult To Even Open A Water Bottle?

Hi, Why does my right wrist hurt so much. The pain started about 2 weeks ago. I am right handed very active still work, garden, exercise and do yoga and of course house work and yard work. I have being taking aspirin, it relieves the pain but then it returns, can t even open a water bottle. Help!

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to overuse of the wrist due to activities.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

I also suggest avoiding activities that overuse the wrist.

I recommend using cold compresses for local application.
