What Could Cause Penile Lump In A 3 Years Old Child?

Hi,

I have a 3 year old son. While urinating, his penis becomes a little erect and there is a lump on it. Otherwise there is no lump. Is this any cause for concern or is this normal? We are planning to get him circumcised In November, once he is on Holiday from School.

Please advise!!

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

It's likely to be due to tight prepuce skin or foreskin. When the baby passes urine it leads on to ballooning of foreskin causing a swelling.
Circumcision which had already been planned by you will resolve the issue.

Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
Best Regards
