What Could Cause Racing Heart Above Upper Abdomen After Having Occasinal Drinks?

Hi, I am not a regular drinker, recently I have noticed that after a few drinks and whilst asleep I am awoken by a feeling that is like a racing heart but it feels like its in my upper abdomen. Please could you advise what is causing this and why?
Thank you

It's been thought, you have been drinking for more than 10 yrs now. So your stomach and lower end of esophagus might have been inflamed. Which causes irritation by alcohol when lying down... Which mimics the pain in heart.
Next, alcohol causes hypotension and hypoglycemia, your blood sugar and bp levels may become low, after alcohol intake, which might have been felt to you as RACING Heart. Treatment is in your hands.
