What Could Cause Recurrent Minor Episodes Of Vision Blackout?

Why do my eyes flash black for less than a second?it doesn't happen constantly but more or less about every month. It's almost as if the lights flickered but whenever I ask someone in the same room as me they say there was no change in light. Am I unconsciously forgetting to blink and my brain is forcing me to blink or is it because I use the internet(with a small iPhone screen) too much? I have no history of epilepsy. I'm a 17 year old girl and I'm pretty sure I'm healthy.
