What Could Cause Severe Leg Pain Post Bone Marrow Transplantation?

Why does my brother have unbearable leg pain. He is having a bone marrow transplant in a dallas hospital. All of the patients on the floor have the same transplant and not one of them have leg pain. His pain goes from his hips all the way to the bottom of his feet. He has to have so much pain medicine just to exist that he cannot even exercise. All of the other patients are doing fine and walking up and down the halls and eating. He cannot eat and cannot exercise. The doctors are at their wits end trying to figure out what is causing his pain. Do you have any suggestions. He is a wonderful man and just needs someone to help him. Please try. Betty K. Peterson
