Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in the hip with a lump that you have can be related to muscle cramp or arthritic changes in the hip joint. This can also be related to the spondylotic changes in the spine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
