What Could Cause Severe Pain And Inflammation In The Anus?

For 2 days my anus has been stinging and is very painful, so much so I cannot wipe after a bowel movement, so have to shower. Even this is so painful it brings tears to my eyes. I also have split skin, again very sore and stings from the top of my crack leading down in between my butt cheeks

Hello,

You may be suffering from a fissure or pruritis ano or fistula or hemorrhoids etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Eat a soft diet and drink plenty of liquids.

If symptoms not improved please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
