Hello,
welcome to HCM,

The history and symptoms are favoring fungal infection in the genital region. It is very common in this area because of multiple reasons like excess sweating, stasis of the sweat, fungus normal commensals of this reason and any change in the genital environment.

I would suggest you to continue the same treatment which is prescribed to you and these medicines are very effective in bringing down the symptoms.

In addition to this you need to maintain good hygiene of the genitals and keep that area clean and dry by applying Neosporin powder over the genitals.
Thank you.
