What Could Cause Severe Vertigo After Taking Prolia And Chemotherapy?

As a chemo patient, taking two different drugs once a month/now for 7 mos., is there any negative impact for taking Prolia? I received my first Prolia shot on the same day of my last chemo; about a week later, I had a severe (all day/more than 12 hours) vertigo episode.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take drugs like Betahistine for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
