What Could Cause Stomach Discomfort, Heartburn Like Sensation And Now, Sudden Onset Of Diarrhoea?

On New Year's Eve I had a terrible case of heartburn (this is not common for me). I was up most of the night in discomfort. Ever since then (2 weeks) my stomach has felt off. Overall I feel like my stomach is very uncomfortable and unsettled. I always feel like I am on the verge of heartburn but never actually get it. I feel like I have to burp or pass gas but rarely actually do. When I do manage to do either it feels very relieving. I can't say I'm constipated because I have been going everyday but not my usual 2-3 times more like 1 or maybe 2. but suddenly tonight I have diarrhea and have been off and on the toilet multiple times. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? And do you have any suggestions as to how to remedy the situation? I have taken over the counter heartburn medication a few times but that doesn't seem to do anything one way or another. Thank you for any help/insight you can provide

I can really appreciate your concern looking to your over all history it can be said that this could be hyper acidic problem, if I would be your doctor then I would surely treat you with the proton pump inhibitor and the best drug would be "Omeprazole 40 mg and "Domepridone" this combination you have to take once in day at evening time for six weeks this will give excellent result, keep your stress level very low this is equally necessary, eat alkali food, avoid taking coffee and alcohol prior to bed, stop smoking, this will come around soon take care and have nice day.
