What Could Cause Stomach Pain?

My son's stomach hurts above his naval and is having some back pain with it...he said one area of his back hurts and stings when he pushes on it..could this be something serious or should we wait and see how he does through the night and day tommorrow?

* Seems most likely intestinal colic .
* Follow these basic guidelines for better recovery

- Plenty of liquids at sessions
- Soft , light diet in small quantities at intervals
- Avoid all oily , spicy , non veg , junk foods , pastries , pizza , pasta ,
high caloric items
- Keep ambulatory with exercises , YOGA
- Avoid prolong fasting , over eating
- Anti spasmodic tablets as drotaverine according to the weight of child
with antacid tablets
- Allow him sound sleep of 7 - 8 hrs
- If after doing all of above for 24 hrs , there is pain then you need to
consult doctor , not at present .
