What Could Cause Sudden Loss Of Vision While Running?

Hey. My friend was in a running competition and by the third lap he started to lose his vision. Doctors here aren't sure what's going on but i was wondering if you might know. Could it be optic neuritis??His vision is basically blurry. He can make out shapes but can't tell me how many fingers im holding up if i put my hand right in-front of his face.

Your friend's vision is very low. It requires a detail examination. IOT is to be measured. lens, vetrios, retina is to be examined. It can be central retinal artery occlusion or vein occlusion. vitreous hemorrhage. etc.For diagnosis examination is to be made by eye doctor.
