What Could Cause Swelling In Lower Right Leg?

I am a 65-year old female. I had fever for 3-4 days which got cured on its own. Later, however, there has been lot of swelling in my lower right leg and some time it seems as if something is moving inside a small portion of the leg. It also pains quite often.
