Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 65-year old female. I had fever for 3-4 days which got cured on its own. Later, however, there has been lot of swelling in my lower right leg and some time it seems as if something is moving inside a small portion of the leg. It also pains quite often.
There can be multiple causes of pain and swelling in one leg. 1.Deep vein thrombosis 2.Hypertension 3. Knee sprain I would suggest you to get a Ultrasound examination of the calf. it will show us if there is any abnormality inside our calf muscles. According to that we can plan our further management,
