What Could Cause White Thick Discharge From Vagina With History Of Having Clear Discharge With Fishy Odor?
hello im having some probles with my vagina .I started off with clear discharge which lead to a fishy odor now the odor is gone but now im seeing this white thick discharge like cottage cheese but thicker I had sex with my partner and it was all over his penis where we both was able to see it I don't have health coverage so what do I do ?
the most likely explanation is that you had bacterial vaginosis, which originally caused the odor and clear discharge. this can sometimes clear up on its own, but in your case it seems like it may have been followed by a yeast infection. some yeast infections may or may not have all the typical symptoms like itching, so what you have could still be a yeast infection. this is not really considered an std because yeast is in the environment. fortunately, you can treat it by yourself with over the counter medications such as monistat which usually work quite well. if it doesn't help, then you shoul see a doctor. I hope this was helpful, please let me know if you have any more questions.
