I am 16 and I have 5 spider angiomas. Ive had one since i was three on my wrist, i got the second on the back or my hand when i was 12 and when i was 14 i got three on my face, on on the edge of my lip, and two over my lips. None of them have gone away, I am not sexually active and Im not taking any medication. I read somewhere that that could mean I have liver issues, is this true?
The tendency to develop spider angiomas is genetically determined in most of the individuals. HCV induced chronic hepatitis can cause the appearance of multiple spider angiomas but that is just one of the cause.
