What Could Dizziness/fainting Post Urination Suggest?
Is it common for men to faint after urinating. I ve had the feeling of fainting a few times while urinating and last night I actually did faint after urinating. This is usually after drinking (not heavily) and during the night. I think it might have been because I got out of bed too quickly to go to the toilet, and then whilst going to the toilet it seemed to make it worse and once finished, I then fainted, fell over and banged my head on the floor.
It is the poly urination, which is provoking postural hypotension when much of the fluid is lost in urine; the body tries to manage the depth via vasodilatation of the peripheral blood vessels which will drop blood supply to the brain transiently.
