Saturday night I bumped my head right above my right eye brow more near my eye/nose bridge. I put an Ice pack to prevent bruising and a bad bump... but I have a headache that don t go away. At first I thought it was the cold pack, but it s persistent. It haven t bruised yet and I do have a small bump that is tender to the touch.. Which I expected but the dull persistent headache is starting to concern me. Am I being overly concerned or should I see my doctor?

I read carefully your question and understand your concern. The headache is quite normal after a head trauma. The bump is related to soft tissues injury. Anyway, if the problem persists, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam. I am sure that your situation will improve spontaneously in the next days. You should just try to have some rest and avoid a second trauma. Painkillers (acetaminophen, ibuprofen) can help improve the pain.
