What Could It Be If Scan Showed Some Shadowing Around Bowels?

Hi, i had a scan on my stomche due to bad pains on left side under ribs, shoulder and chest, they said there wasnt gallstones, but some shadowing on/around my bowel, and took measurements. nothing was said just shell report back to the doctors. what could this be. thanks
