What Could Knee Pain With Popping Sensation Suggest?

Hi just recently my knees and legs have started hurting. I constantly feel like I have to pop my knee and tonight I realized a squishy sound when I bend down in my right knee. My feet and calves kinda hurt. I m 16, is this growing? Or is something wrong? I don t exercise a lot so is this a consequence? It doesn t hurt that bad though

Hi,

I have read your query.

It is probably due to softened cartilage of your knee joint or just due ti weak quadriceps muscle.

So get xray of affected knee done in skyline view and send me the report.

Do quadriceps strengthening exercises as uploaded on youtube.

Take ibuprofen 200 mg once a day for 5 days.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
