What Could Loose Motions With Swollen Stomach Indicate?

I had severe diaharra on wednsday... Have had loose motions since then. Last night i got a stomach ache and it got worse and i had shivers. it seemed to go away some time in the afternoon today the 25th but has come back in the last few hours, I noticed slight swelling in the right side of my stomach and its very cold to touch .should i be worried? I am afriad to sleep
