What Could Nausea, Lack Of Appetite With Pain In Chest Mean?
Hi there. For the last couple of days I have been feeling nauseous and not wanting to eat anything, sometimes I get a little dizzy. Recently, that being today, I have had tight chest pains and a shortness of breath without even doing any physical work. It may be because of stress, as I am in the middle of a move. But the chest pains are quite painful. I don t know if its part of a bug I may have cought or if I should seek medical advice, please help me. And if this has anything to do with it, I am a 16 year old girl about 100-110 pounds and a little over 5 feet tall. Thank you.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of nausea, not wanting to eat, dizziness sometimes, chest pains today, shortness of breath in a girl of 16. I would advise you the following with explanation: Since you are young the chances of myocardiac infarction are least possible. Yet an EKG is a must as well as an X-ray of the chest. get a clinical evaluation by your Doctor, actual examination to see if there is costochondritis. These along with some tests will get you the correct diagnosis and proper management including PPI and antacid as well as analgesics for the chest pain.
