What Could Pain Under Ribs On Left Side, Voilent Throwing Up While Being On OTC Acid Reducer Be?

I often get a acheness on my left side just below the ribs. Its a discomfort that is kinda hard to really discribe. It results in everytime me throwing up, and I will throw up til the very last of bit of whatever may be in my gut. It also is not the norm of one vomiting. Its fast, very violent to where I pee myself, my nose runs pretty bad and it always ends with flem , I guess. This has been going since 2007 also I take an over the counter acid reducer. Otherwise I would be able to eat nothing. Ive mentioned to drs, but they seem not to concernd and do nothing. I feel its something, because its not normal. In my opinion.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should take an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg along with Domperidone 30 mg once a day before breakfast.

Following precautions will be helpful ;-
1. Avoid being empty stomach for long.
2. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
3. Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.
4. Do not self medicate, especially painkiller and steroids.
5. Drink lot of water daily.

I would also like to advise that you should get an ultrasound of abdomen done.
Also get yourself clinically examined and investigated.
