General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

A lump under the armpit which is red, swollen and painful, is usually caused by pus accumulation. Due to shaving you have an infection in this area. It leads to pus accumulation.
The best way to have it treated is a small incision and pus evacuation.
I suggest you to visit a surgeon who will drain it. Without it, no medicine will be effective.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
