What Could Painful Upper Stomach With Diarrhea Suggest?

In the middle of the night, I experienced terrible pain in the upper part of my stomach. All day, I had been burping an awful rotten egg taste. About three this morning, I began to violently dry heave, like my body was trying to pull something from the place where my stomach was knotted and painful. I also had bad diarrhea. I m a teacher, and I experience stomach bugs about twice a year, but this was violent and unlike any other. I almost called an ambulance for fear that whatever my body was tying to bring up would get stuck in my throat and choke me. I was okay most of the day today, but now the rotten egg burps have begun again.

Looking at your history this could be digestive disorder like Acid peptic disease like gastritis or peptic ulcer due to acid reflux and liver disease like hepatitis.

I would advise you to take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or rabeprazole with antacids
Have lemon water, yoghurt or curd as much you can take.

If it persists or worsens book an appointment with an gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and a battery of tests like liver function test and an ultrasound

you can take pantoprazole or rabeprazole group of drugs with antacids.

I would like to know whether you have any risk factor for heart disease like family history or complaints of shortness of breath with palpitations or chest pains
