I had a minor tap to the forehead 7 weeks ago causing my neck to pop. Since then I have had binocular diplopia, and weakness to my left arm and leg. grips are strong, but definitely strength is not like it used to be on the left side. I feel like my left side is kind of ignored by me. I have factor V Leiden mutation gene heterozygous and MTHFR which does put me at risk for clots. Had Pulm embolism 6 years ago. I am 53, a nurse, very active, nonsmoker. MRIs of the brainc several were all normal. CT Scan angio to brain and neck possible fibromuscular dysplasia, but physicians says no
As you said, you are a Nurse you need guidance for Proper care and Follow-up. For Diplopia, I Suggest an ophthalmologist review where he will do fundoscopy and see for Retinal damages that are to be ruled out.
Secondly, do not get exposed to bare Sunlight. You require an Absolute Bed Rest for at least 3 Weeks to recover fully back to Normal, provided if the Fundoscopy is Normal. And after 3 weeks, if you are still with the similar Complaints, then please repeat an MRI Scan.
