What Could Pelvic Pressure And Frequent Urination Post Cystotomy Suggest?

Is it normal a day or two after surgery to have pressure in my right pelvic area after left cystotomy done by laparoscopic. The pain is all the way at the bottom in my private area (not in the belly) from the pressure. I also have been urinating every 20 min.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my surgical experience, this indicates inflammation in the urinary bladder or urethra through infection or drain kept after surgery if there is any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
