What Could Persistent Fever With Headache And Dry Cough Indicate?
I have been struggling w a fever that runs btw100.2 to 103.9 for five days now. no cough or any flu like sx. Tried ibuprofen which upsets my stomach and made me nauseous. Now I have a dull headache and a fake dry cough once ina while. I also have a uncontrollable Painful shiver lasts about1 -2 hours. Nothing else stands out. No dysuria, no swollen lymph nodes or tonsils. Help!!

I really appreciate your concern, most of the time such fever could be due to viral infection and fever could be controlled with "Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg" as per needed, let runs the course of fever and it will be fine, and in case of persistence fever better to get done routine test to ruled out bacterial, parasitic, infection, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
